What Happens in a Yoga Class?

When you join a yoga class, you’ll start with simple breathing exercises to help you relax. Then, you’ll try different poses, like the Tree Pose (standing on one leg) or the Downward Dog (a stretch that looks like a triangle). Don’t worry if you’ve never done these before—our instructors will show you exactly what to do.

Each class ends with a few minutes of lying down and resting. This is called Shavasana or corpse pose, and it’s a great way to feel calm and refreshed.

What Do You Need to Bring?

To join a yoga class at Gym Fest, all you need is:

  • Comfortable clothes you can move in.
  • A water bottle to stay hydrated.
  • A yoga mat (we can provide one if you don’t have your own).
